World Naked Bike ride this Saturday June 10th

It seems I know one of the high level volunteers for this event. There is also a free dance party that I think is clothing optional. Its a protest against oil dependence, and all the problems associated with that like, air pollution, global warming, wars, terrorism, and simply not being safe on the street unless you are protected by the steel cage of your own pollution machine. The nudity is mostly for media attention, but has the side note of saying that nudity in itself is not obscene. Most religions will agree with that point including Christianity. If you don't believe me google it.

I don't know that I am so brave as to ride around Portland naked, but I am brave enough to go to a party, and ride around Portland with clothes on in a group of naked people to help support their cause. The rule is it's as bare as you dare.

A. Many of these people will have young cyclist bodies, not 55, and lay on the beach bodies.

B. I am not easily grossed out.
