Update on my Mom

Mom is doing much better than last night. Last night they thought that she had the same problem that killed John Ritter suddenly, but it turned out that what had shown up on the test last week had gone away on it's own not gotten far worse as it seemed from her condition last night. The treatment she has received while she has been at the hospital has made her feel much better. Last night she could barely get out two words without having to take a break to catch her breath, and today she is able to hold up a significant fraction of a conversation. The doctors even think she may be strong enough to go back on chemo which is very good news. As it was they had to stop chemo because it could have killed her, and without it she would only have a few weeks to live. The number of people who have shown up to support her has been overwhelming. She was trying to give advice, and help people with their problems today even from her hospital bed which is I'm sure why so many people love her. Thank you to everyone who has been supportive. I'm sure the kindness is helping her recover.

I have a hard time believing in any kind of supernatural powers. The world is usually all logic, and numbers to me, but last night when Mom, and Dad's minister showed up, and lead us in prayer I had never wanted to believe more in anything in my whole life. Then she started to get better. So I'm going to break with my usual line of thinking, and say...

God Bless

That's wonderful news! I said a prayer for your mom then and I'll keep doing so. :-)

I'm doing better now that my mom is doing better. I actually get to worry about my trip to Houston. If I decide on a driving route that passes through Boise, I'm hoping that I will have an opportunity to visit you briefly before I continue on to my next stop. I think there is a good chance I can stop at a friends house in Ontario one night, and at the home of extended family in Provo the next.
