mood: nerdynerdy

I was expecting a lower score because well I know people who are better at a lot of nerdy things than I am.

I am nerdier than 95% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

Hi Kelly. I haven't seen you online in a really long time. I was thinking about calling you on the phone, or at least emailing you. Oh something slightly interesting. My girlfriend, and I bumped into your old roommate Kara. She was studying to become a physician's assistant. I think she lost a little weight too. Couldn't say if her personality has improved any. I think I will make a big post in the next few days with more about what has been going on in my life. Probably the most important thing to say about me is that I am going to try to get into Catherine's school in Houston for summer term, and earn enough money to go there for a term before then.

I haven't thought about Kara in years. Has she been accepted to PA school? Good for her if she has but I sure wouldn't trust her with a needle a medication. I've been a little down lately. Young had to move to Chicago for a job :( and so we are doing the long distance thing. That happened on January 10th or so. I am flying out to see him at least once a month right now. We talk 5 or 6 times a day still. I have Calvin (our dog) to take care of until I move to Chicago or he moves back here. I think the whole idea of marriage is even more serious now. I've been kicking my own ass at the hospital lately. Easily 60 hrs a week between clinicals and paid work at the same hospital. I graduate May 14th and will be registered as an X-ray tech. I almost decided to pursue Nuclear Medicine but decided that Ultrasound is really the department for me so I'm spending 1 more year to become a sonographer and I hope to certify as an echocardiographer as well so I can go between the research lab and the hospital to mix things up in my life. The research lab has been asking me when I will have my echo degree because they could really use my skills for the doxorubicin/adriamycin project again. That was the research lab I worked in as an intern when I finished my Bio degree. Anyhow... it's late and I've had a long day. I took x-rays of a murder victim this morning who was my age. Talk about a way to ruin your day. My world is definitely a little more twisted than most.
