Bike commuting success

I started bike commuting in I think late November. At first it was really difficult for me. Doing even two days in a row was too much for me. Slowly I've been getting in better shape over the months since then. And last week is the first time I was able to do all five work days in a row. On Friday I was super tired by the time I got home. I was really tired most of the weekend, but I recovered in time to bike commute again today. What's more, I'm not tired right now. In fact I'm hyper. I feel like running. I am having trouble remembering the last time I felt like this. I looked it up a few minutes ago, and apparently I could lose a few pounds a month just from the amount of fidgeting I'm doing now if I keep it up. I'm hoping that I can bike commute every workday through the end of March. Then perhaps in April I will be in good enough shape to also bike on weekends, and to do errands after work.
