Fate

Even if you knew for a fact that everything was determined by fate you would be a fool to just let fate decide everything. If your fate is to save the world it is necessary that things happen to you to put you in the position to save it. If you are going to be saving the world you need to have the skills. Where are you going to get those skills? You are not just going to wake up on judgement day with everything you need if you didn't prepare. The only real clue of what your fate might be is the road you are taking. If your future is to be grand you are probably going to work hard for it.

Then we find out the mountain cat was actually a robot emad, and that everything that's happened is just a Xenogears remake. Finally, suicide.

Now that I have some idea what you are talking about, I don't know that it has anything to do with my post. I think your comment would feel more at home in the NOENDTOMADNESS journal.

So, what's your point exactly?

Your post reads like the output of a Markov chain generator.

Maybe I should read my posts before I submit them. I was thinking about free will. Einstein saind what I really want to know is if God had a choice in making the universe. My conundrum is if we don't have free will should we really act like we don't. People who act like they don't have free will seem to get themselves in a lot of trouble. People who act like they really do have control get themselves in trouble too. People who belive in destiny, and their talents, but not in the lottery tend to go far. Actually the only one I can think of is Napoleon, so that was probably a ludicrus statement. The idea loops in on itself, or at least I found myself in a thought loop. Take for example "This statement is false". If its true then its false, but if it is false then it is true. Its fine if it is half true. The only way that we can make sensible predictions of the futre is if the universe is deterministic but it seems that if people act like their own lives conform to the same rules as the rest of the universe then they are doomed to fail. Law is based on the idea that you are in control, insurance is based on the idea that you are not.

I bet that this is just as incomprehesible, but I don't feel like proof reading it. I'm not sure that I can make it make sense. Fate is good for forgiving yourself for your mistakes. Beleving that you have a good fate helps confidence. Blaming fate for your mistakes, and trusting chance will get you into trouble.

I think my mind is in a loop again. I think the only way out is a rather radicle solution. The statement that nither is true. Maybe there is no time like we think of it.

I'm going to stop trying to explain this. I'm not sure that I can even understand it. Feel free to comment, or instant message me.
